Every initial appointment at aktivteam begins with a thorough 30-minute diagnostic session. We analyze your symptoms in detail, test your range of motion, and document the results digitally.

The results of your 30-minute diagnostic session form the basis for an individual therapy plan. Our treatments, active exercises, and personalized training are integrated and build logically upon one another. Our physiotherapists will support you every step of the way from start to finish.

How do I get a physiotherapy appointment in Munich?
You are welcome to book your first physiotherapy appointment at aktivteam Physiotherapie here online, by phone, or by visiting our practice in person. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled by phone or directly at the practice, as the frequency and duration of therapy depend on your doctor's prescription.
Can I get physiotherapy without a prescription?
You will always need a doctor's prescription for physiotherapy. However, we are also happy to support you beyond that, offering individual packages such as personal training, athletic support, advanced diagnostics, wellness massage, or training in our gym area. How long does a physiotherapy appointment last?
For your first appointment, we set aside 60 minutes. In addition to a detailed assessment and testing, your first treatment session will also take place. Our comprehensive 30-minute assessment and testing phase lays the foundation for your therapy plan and is provided free of charge.
The duration of follow-up appointments depends on your prescription. Statutory health insurance providers generally allocate 15–20 minutes per treatment session. However, we recommend at least 30 minutes per appointment. By paying an additional fee, which we will invoice separately, you have the option to extend your treatment duration to 30 or 60 minutes. We would be happy to provide you with individual advice on this.
Who is aktivteam Physiotherapie in Munich for?
aktivteam Physiotherapie is open to everyone. We treat patients with statutory insurance, private insurance, and self-paying patients.
How much does physiotherapy cost for private patients?
Costs vary depending on the type and duration of the treatment and your prescription. We would be happy to create a customized treatment package tailored to your needs. Coverage depends on your individual insurance plan.
How much does physiotherapy cost for patients with statutory health insurance?
Statutory health insurance providers require their insured members to pay a prescription fee of 10 euros plus a co-payment of 10% of the prescription value. We will invoice you for this co-payment and forward the amount directly to your health insurance provider.
You have the option to extend your treatment duration by paying an additional fee, which we will invoice separately. We would be happy to provide you with individual advice on this.
Can I extend my physiotherapy session?
You can extend your treatment time individually; we will issue a separate invoice for this as a self-pay service.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Please bring your doctor's prescription to your appointment and wear comfortable clothing. Towels and treatment covers are provided at the practice. If needed, a changing area with a shower is also available. Feel free to bring any medical reports or therapy guidelines if you have them.
Do I need to arrive early for my first appointment?
Please arrive at the practice approximately 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out your treatment forms and discuss the treatment plan with our team over a coffee or a drink.
